Now Accepting Applications for the 12th Annual Christmas Tree Forest Contest!

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – September 2021 – The Art Museum of South Texas (AMST) is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 12th Annual Christmas Tree Forest Contest, presented by HEB, Junior League Corpus Christi, and Art Museum of South Texas, with additional support provided by Navy Army Community Credit Union and L&F Distributors.

About the contest:

• Who:      The Junior League of Corpus Christi, H-E-B, and the Art Museum of South Texas, along with 30 area youth groups
• What:     Register your school to compete in the 12th annual tree-decorating contest
• When:
  • Decorate Trees @ AMST: Nov. 15 – 17, 19 from 10am – 6pm
  • Trees On View: Nov. 20 – Dec. 15
  • Bonus Mondays: Nov. 29, Dec. 6 & 13
  • Free Family Day: Dec. 11 from 10am – 3pm
• Where:   Art Museum of South Texas, 1902 N. Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas  78401
• Why:      To give students, teachers, and families in the Corpus Christi area the opportunity to foster a love of reading and to promote critical thinking and creativity through exploration of award-winning literature and illustrations

Eligibility: All interested parties must be affiliated with a Coastal Bend area school/youth or homeschool organization such as a particular classroom or grade level, a boy or girl scout troop, student council, 4-H Club, etc.

*Thirty (30) schools and three (3) alternates will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
