On Friday, September 8, 6-7:30 p.m. two of the four Texas artists included in the Outwin 2016 exhibition will venture to Corpus Christi to be the Art Museum of South Texas’s featured speakers in a special Dollarafter Dark Contemporary Artist Talk.  Sedrick Huckaby, the 2018 Texas 2D Visual Artist of the Year and painting instructor to President George W. Bush, and Rigoberto Gonzalez, Professor of Art at the University of Texas–Pan American in Edinburg, Texas will discuss The Outwin 2016, their artwork, and their individual creative process. Take advantage of this opportunity to meet nationally recognized Texas artists and learn how The Outwin 2016 affected their lives and accelerated their careers.  This public program is free with reduced museum admission of $1 for nonmembers and, as always, free for museum members and TAMU-CC students.
