Christmas Tree Forest FREE Family Fun Day

AMST, the Junior League, and H-E-B Partner to Bring “A Reading Wonderland”, 9^th Annual Christmas Tree Forest to Corpus Christi

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: H-E-B and the Junior League of Corpus Christi, in partnership with The Art Museum of South Texas, are proud to announce the 9th Annual Christmas Tree Forest: A Reading Wonderland. This event is an exhibition of Christmas trees decorated to mirror the themes of children’s books chosen by participating local schoolchildren.

Join H-E-B, the Junior League of Corpus Christi and The Art Museum of South Texas in celebrating – Christmas Tree Forest Free Family Fun Day. This wonderful celebration of literacy will take place on December 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Art Museum of South Texas. On this day, with the sponsorship of H-E-B, the Junior League of Corpus Christi will provide H-E-Buddy goodie bags to the first 2,000 children who attend. There will be Christmas music, live entertainment and a special appearance by Santa Claus! Individuals will be able to vote for their favorite tree decorated by local students based on a children’s book. Families and children of all ages are invited to experience and participate in the wonder of literacy by enjoying this fun and free event.

This exhibition will be on display at the Art Museum of South Texas from November 17 through December 12, 2018, including three bonus Mondays (11/26, 12/3, and 12/10).
