FREE FAMILY DAY SATURDAY, APRIL 6

Join us for a special sARTurday afternoon as we celebrate the works in ReTooled: Highlights from the Hechinger Collection exhibition!

  • FREE admission all day
  • Hands-on art activities lead by special guest Lars Roeder, Visiting Professor at TAMU-CC, and his students from 1-3 p.m.
    • Create a memorable screen print using tools similar to artist Jim Dine, featured in the exhibition.
    • We’ll also preview our summer art camp sessions such as Hogwarts Americana, Animation Fascination and Under the Sea with several  hands-on art activities.
  • From 2-3 p.m., The Island Dance Company will perform “voIce” in the Singer Gallery.
  • Augmented reality self-guided tours, music and more will round out this afternoon of fine art and fine fun for the whole family!
