Our next docent training is on Friday, September 27 from 9am – 12pm. The focus of this session will be our newest exhibition A Journey Into Imagimation: Over a Hundred Year of Animation Art from Around the World. This exhibition has been curated from the vast 49,000+ piece original international animation art collection preserved over several decades by animation historians and professionals Hal and Nancy Miles, founders of the Animation Hall of Fame.

We welcome the volunteer services of our docents and continually seek to build our docent base. Docents provide guided tours in the Museum for children and adults. It is not necessary to have an academic background in art or history to join our program. Training is conducted quarterly by curatorial staff and guest artists/curators.
