Corpus Christi, TX, June 2020:

Effective Friday, June 26, 2020, the Art Museum of South Texas will be requiring all visitors to wear masks while visiting the galleries.

In compliance with Nueces Co. Judge Barbara Canales executive order issued on Monday, AMST will join all county-owned facilities in requiring masks for all staff and visitors.

The Museum values the health and safety of all of our visitors and staff. We continue to monitor and adhere to sanitation policies set by our city, county, and state officials. We understand these requirements are subject to change, and we promise to remain thorough in our implementation of sanitation practices for your safety and ours.

The safety measures we will continue to take include:

  • Social distancing with at least six feet between visitors.
  • Hand sanitizing stations placed at the Museum entrance and throughout the Museum available for visitors.
  • Acrylic barriers around gift shop and security desk attendants.
  • All staff and visitors will be required to wear a mask in the Museum.

These procedures, along with additional updates pertaining to COVID-19, are available on our website: https://www.artmuseumofsouthtexas.org/
