Join us for a TOTALLY TUBULAR event celebrating the Legorreta Building’s sixteenth birthday in the most RAD way– with big hair, bizarre nostalgia, and weirdness TO THE MAX! 

The Legorreta Building was built as an expansion in 2006 to allow more space for permanent collection storage, staff offices, gift shop, and gallery space. What better way to celebrate a “Sweet Sixteen” than with a GNARLY 1980’s school dance spiked with AMST oddities?!

Taking inspiration from every 1980’s school dance that ever existed and the science fiction TV series, STRANGER THINGS, artRageous: super stRange sixteen will transport you back to your awkward glory days of high school–with an ominous twist!

ATTIRE: Calling all awesomely hideous prom gowns, puffy sleeves, and shoulder pads– THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE for the annual artRageous costume contest!! Jocks, nerds, goths, and geeks are all welcome here! Winners will be dubbed artRageous Royalty and will get their names added to the artRageous award, PLUS 2 General Admission tickets to next year’s artRageous.
