The Fine Art of Summer Camp: The Clayground

Ceramics and Live PerformanceA highlight of each summer, clay camp packs a lot of punch in a short amount of time! In just two weeks, children will experiment with many hand-building techniques, glazing and will even get a chance to try the pottery wheel. Campers will help in all aspects of producing a short play that’s out of this world! General Registration including Non-Members registration will be open March 7th, 2017 at 9:00am.Registration for the Fine Art of Summer Camp 2017 is well underway! Reserve your space online today as spots are filling up quickly. And don’t forget that with a Family Membership, campers will receiveup to $25 off their camp tuition. Sibling discounts are also available. Camp brochures are available for download on the home page of the Museum’s website at: www.artmuseumofsouthtexas.org. The camp day is from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Child-care before and after camp is available for an additional fee. All sessions are for children ages K5 (must have completed kindergarten in the 2016-2017 school year) to 12. Children are asked to bring their own lunch and snacks; microwave and refrigerator are not available. Each registered child will receive a camp t-shirt. Cancellations with full refund minus a $50 processing fee are accepted in writing up to 30 days before thefirst day of the camp session. Tuition is not refundable for cancellationsreceived less than 30 days prior to the camp session. No refunds due to illness or weather conditions although every effort will be made to reschedule classes canceled due to hurricane threats/conditions.
