The Art Museum of South Texas includes 50 ink on paper drawings by Dorothy Hood in the permanent collection. The 21 on view are the latest acquisition to the Museum. The framing was done by the students of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi professor David Hill’s Museum and Gallery Practices class in the Spring of 2022. These students and their professor made this exhibition possible, and were working closely with the Museum’s former Preparator, to examine the intricacies of the ink on paper drawings and learning the care it takes to frame a work on paper.
