Purely Paper: Selections from the Permanent Collection

This exhibition features a sampling of works, all with the common denominator of paper, from the AMST Permanent Collection. Techniques include painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, handmade paper, sculpture, and assemblage works. A wide range of subject matter will be on view. The works on paper collection is one of the most important elements of the Museum’s permanent collection. Over the years, AMST has shared an exhibition of works on paper from its permanent collection with three other museums. Since then AMST has acquired additional pieces that, until now, have not been exhibited. In 2020, Purely Paper, will travel to California.
