Visionarios 2024: Exploring South Texas

Visionarios is the largest youth art contest in Corpus Christi.

For 23 years this juried competition encourages young people to integrate the arts into core curriculum and provides an opportunity for them to be recognized for their efforts.

Research shows that students who study the arts perform better in the classroom and on standardized tests and are less likely to drop out of school. Arts education also helps students develop the self-discipline, cooperation, and self-motivation necessary for high achievement in school and in life. The Port of Corpus Christi and AMST are dedicated to helping young people envision a bright future and develop the discipline and creativity to achieve their goals.

Visionarios celebrates the youthful perception and creativity of the students of the coastal bend. This year’s theme is based around the area these students call home: SOUTH TEXAS.
