As a sub-group of active AMST members, Contemporary Art Circle (CAC) provides exciting, innovative events for the novice and artist alike designed to reach new and experienced collectors concerning fine art issues and collecting concerns. In addition to supporting AMST’s exhibitions and educational programs, all members at the $100 level or above receive invitations to exclusive CAC events and programs with no additional fee.

COLLECTORS CLUB

The Collectors Club is a sub-group of active AMST members dedicated to learning more about collecting art, while contributing funds toward the purchase of art for the Art Museum of South Texas. The Club meets periodically for social and education functions. Club members are exclusively invited to join the annual Collectors Club trip traveling to a different city in the United States each year for a week of unique arts and dining experiences and behind the scenes tours at cultural institutions, galleries, and artist’s studios to learn more about the fine art of collecting. The Collectors Club is open to existing AMST members who show their dedication by making an additional contribution beyond their annual membership at one of three donation levels.

The Chairman’s and Foundation Circle is the premier AMST membership level while also generating the most financial support for the AMST exhibitions and education programs. Members gather twice a year for a membership reception in a private home and for an elegant evening dinner in the Art Museum galleries.

FRIENDS OF THE
DR. CLEO GALLERY

The Friends of the Dr. Cleo Gallery supports the purchase and conservation of artwork in the Spanish Colonial Permanent Collection at the Art Museum of South Texas, by dedicating a portion of their membership to this cause. Friends of the Dr. Cleo Gallery maintain an active membership to AMST at the $100 Supporting level or above. If you are currently not a member, $100 of your contribution to the Friends of the Dr. Cleo Gallery will be applied to purchase a Supporting Level membership. If you have an active membership, but not at the Supporting level, your membership will be upgraded to $100 and the remainder applied to the Friends of the Dr. Cleo Gallery. If you have a membership at or above this level, 100% of your contribution will be applied to the Spanish Colonial fund.
